🧠 What is a CPU?
The CPU (Central Processing Unit), also called the processor, is considered the “brain” of the computer.
It executes the instructions required for the operating system and software to run.
In particular, it is responsible for:

- 🧮 performing calculations;
- 🌐 handling many everyday tasks;
- 🎮 contributing to how video games run.
A CPU generally has a few very powerful cores capable of handling different and complex tasks.

🎨 What is a GPU?
The GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), or graphics processor, is specialized in handling a large number of calculations in parallel.
Originally, it was mainly designed to display images, animations and video games.
Today, its use has expanded greatly.
A GPU can in particular be used to:
- 🎮 render game graphics;
- 🎬 speed up certain video processing tasks;
- 🖥️ generate 3D images;
- 🤖 perform certain calculations related to artificial intelligence;
- 🧮 very quickly carry out a huge number of similar calculations in parallel.
